18th Century Iron Money Box with a clever mechanism that uses gravity to block the slot if the box is inverted. Probably European.

7.25” x 5" x 4.5" tall

Unusual Wood Tea Caddy or Tobacco Box in the form of a doghouse with brass nails and door surround and with a brass dog sitting outside. It opens by gently lowering the dog's hinged head which releases the peaked roof form lid which opens to a tin lined interior. The whole is mounted on a plinth base with brass beading. Circa 1870, probably Black Forest.

Exceptional Napoleon III Tea Chest, ebonized with extensive ormolu mounts; rectangular with cut corners, having a stepped hinged lid with a small compartment surmounted by a figure of a boy holding a tray and opening to a fitted interior with a well, two gilt crystal caddies and a sugarbowl. French, probably TAHAN, late 19th Century.

FinePair of Italian Grand Tour Bronze Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. Italy, circa 1870. Height: 11.25"

Gold Presentation Walking Stick with touchmark “TD&V” and inscribed : “Presented to, Mayor Reno, by Members of City Council, Mch 15, ‘97” and with an ebonized wood shaft. Length:32.75"

Exceptional German Brass Mounted Kingwood and Coconut Wood Tea Chest by Abraham Roentgen (1711-1793) having a stepped lid surmounted by a brass carrying handle and opening to a divided interior with two lidded brass tea canisters and a lidded brass sugar canister with an unusual divided interior. The plinth base raised on brass ogee bracket feet has a concealed side drawer (for silver teaspoons). Circa 1755-1760...

Extremely Rare if not unique, 18th C. Georgian Tea Caddy with cut glass mirrored panels on three sides and the top and with striped inlay on the lid and zebra striped edging. The hinged lid opens to three divided compartments. Circa 1760.
