Antique Continental Demilune carved and gilt wood wall bracket. Late 19th century.

Rare English Regency Tea Chest in rosewood, of sarcophagus form with a paneled lid opening to a fitted interior retaining a pair of Anglo-Irish cut glass tea caddies and sugar bowl and original felt lining under the lid, circa 1830.

Cut crystal containers were very expensive at this time, almost as expensive as silver. It is very unusual for tea chests to retain their original crystal fittings.

Exceptional Pair of Italian Bronze and Ormolu Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. Italy, circa 1870. 5" x 5" x 13"tall

Rare 18th century fruit wood tea caddy in the form of a large apple, having a circular hinged lid with carved “stem” opening to a tin-lined interior; lock and escutcheon are original, hinge is replaced (repair to lid). Probably Continental, circa 1760-80.

Antique Chinese Export Rouge Lacquer Tea Caddy with faux painted brass banding; rectangular with brass carrying handles and gilt decoration, the hinged lid opening to a large pewter removable box with hinged lid and engraved decoration of figures in a landscape. Circa 1870. (rubbing to painted banding)

Exceptional German Brass Mounted Kingwood and Coconut Wood Tea Chest by Abraham Roentgen (1711-1793) having a stepped lid surmounted by a brass carrying handle and opening to a divided interior with two lidded brass tea canisters and a lidded brass sugar canister with an unusual divided interior. The plinth base raised on brass ogee bracket feet has a concealed side drawer (for silver teaspoons). Circa 1755-1760.
