Rare Mahogany Brass Bound Bottle Cooler, late 18th C., with pierced handle and shaped rim, the sides with three brass bands and the top edge with a line of boxwood stringing. English, circa 1780. Originally with a tin liner.

Rare American Federal tea caddy in nicely figured mahogany with three sides and stepped lid inlaid with banding and corner fan decoration; rectangular, with shaped skirt and French bracket feet and divided interior. Fine English Regency tea chest of sarcophagus form in rosewood, banded and inlaid with brass; the rectangular, canted lid opens to a fitted interior with two lidded tea caddies ad a later sugar bowl. Circa 1810-15.

Unusual Sterling Mounted Masonic Root Cane marked "Lyon Maker, Sterling" and with engraved symbols of the Shriners Emblem, The Square and Compass and the Knight Templars Blood-Red Passion Cross and Crown. Late 19th C. (minor dents to mounts)

#699 Antique Scottish Penwork Tea Chest in Maple with all over decoration of leaves and acorns and a central paterae on the stepped lid of a mother with two children. Inside are two removable lidded tea caddies with penwork leaf and grape decoration and the underside of the lid has a faux coral design.

French Boulle Style Tea Caddy, rectangular with cut-corners and slightly domed lid with all sides and two interior lids extensively inlaid with engraved brass and red and black colored lacquer simulating tortoise-shell in the 17th century manner. Circa 1850.

Antique English Bagatelle Box in Mahogany with original wooden insert and later ball and cues, now mounted on a metal stand.

Circa 1840

Bagatelle was a billiards-derived indoor table game, the object of which was to get a number of balls past wooden pins into holes that are guarded by wooden pegs; penalties were incurred if the pegs are knocked over.

Rare English Regency Tea Chest in rosewood, of sarcophagus form with a paneled lid opening to a fitted interior retaining a pair of Anglo-Irish cut glass tea caddies and sugar bowl and original felt lining under the lid, circa 1830.

Cut crystal containers were very expensive at this time, almost as expensive as silver. It is very unusual for tea chests to retain their original crystal fittings.

Exceptional Pair of Italian Bronze and Ormolu Candlesticks with nicely detailed foliate decoration and with good patina and fine castings. Having a removable ormolu drip pan above a bronze candle cup and supported by a turned and foliate decorated column with a tripartite scrolling ormolu base and mounted on a tripartite bronze plinth. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour. Italy, circa 1870. 5" x 5" x 13"tall
