Impressive large-scale Black Forest carved armchair in walnut with all over carved decoration of bark, branches, leaves and berries. Swiss. Circa 1870-1880. Provenance: Anniee McCarthy, Newport, RI and NYC (label). Minor loss to tips of leaves on crestrail, caned seat was once over upholstered.
Classical ormolu mounted dressing table in mahogany having a rectangular top with two incurved small drawers and an elevating cheval mirror above a frieze drawer and two cabriole legs ending in hoof form feet on an incurved platform base. Probably Baltic, circa 1830-1840.
Neoclassical gametable in cedar, having a hinged rectangular top which rotates and opens to a baize playing surface; the shaped and moulded skirt with two end drawers, raised on tapered legs ending in brass casters. Possibly Baltic. Circa 1830
